Gurbani Santhya Classes

Reading of Gurbani

7pm-9pm (Thursdays)

Gurbani Santhya

Although we sing, read and listen to Gurbani all the time through radio, tv, in-car audios and even go to the Gurdwara, some times we find that understanding of the Bani is still fairly low.

Understanding is also many fold:

1 Grammatically correct reading
2 Understanding the literal meaning
3 Knowing the history attached to some Shabads

We have therefore started GURBANI SANTHYA CLASSES, presently being monitored by Darshan Singh Panesar, previously by Sewa Singh Ji and Amarjit Singh Virdee.

One thing that has become very clear since these classes were started is that it does not matter how long we have been doing our NITNEM or SRI AKHAND PAATH, we tend to make mistakes.

Furthermore because we do our Paath daily we also make our mistakes daily. Attending the Santhya Classes will enable us to minimise the mistakes.

If we have more response from beginners then we will be happy to accommodate more sessions.

Most of the people who have attended the classes have benefitted and said that they were not even aware that they had been reciting the Paath incorrectly.

Bhai Jaswinder Pal Singh Ji has taught this class, in the past we have had Giani Sardul Singh Ji, Gurbax Singh Gulshan and other learned teachers.
